On a warm evening in early summer, Damian called a quiet family meeting in the grand study. He slid a thick leather-bound document across the mahogany desk toward Marcus.
Marcus looked down at the papers, his eyes widening slightly as he read the title: Transfer of Executive Trusteeship and Estate Stewardship.
"Boss... Damian... what is this?" Marcus asked, looking up in astonishment.
"It's official, son," Damian said quietly, his voice filled with profound pride and unconditional love. "I'm stepping back from day-to-day corporate operations. The foundation, the logistics network, the estate—everything. I'm passing the torch to you."
"I can't take this," Marcus protested, shaking his head. "This is your life's work, your empire."
"It was an empire of fear when I built it," Damian corrected gently, standing up and placing both hands firmly on Marcus’s shoulders. "You turned it into a legacy of love. There is nobody on this earth I trust more to protect my daughters, honor our family name, and carry our mission into the future."
