Chương 74 - Descent into the Alps

The private jet sliced through the midnight sky, touching down at Zurich Airport under a blanket of heavy alpine snow. The crisp mountain air carried the biting chill of winter, matching the cold, unyielding resolve of the men stepping off the tarmac.

Rostov’s villa in Zug was an architectural fortress of reinforced concrete and bulletproof glass, nestled quietly against a steep pine-covered slope overlooking a glacial lake. To any ordinary law enforcement agency, it was an impenetrable stronghold guarded by private mercenary units. To Damian Vance and his elite tactical team, it was simply target practice.

Under the cover of a freezing alpine blizzard, Viktor and the tactical unit moved with silent, ghost-like precision across the snowy perimeter grounds. They bypassed motion sensors and thermal cameras using advanced electronic dampeners provided by Marcus’s remote terminal back in the safehouse.

Marcus sat inside the command van parked half a mile down the winding mountain road, his fingers flying across his keyboard as he blinded the villa's internal security matrix.

"All internal cameras on the ground floor are looping pre-recorded feeds," Marcus spoke into his secure tactical comms headset. "You have clear passage through the eastern service entrance, Boss."

"Copy that, kid," Damian’s deep, steady voice crackled back through the earpiece. "Hold your position. We'll handle the rest."

Inside the villa, Rostov’s guards never even saw it coming. A series of swift, silent, non-lethal tactical takedowns left the security detail neutralized within minutes without a single shot being fired. Damian and Viktor moved up the grand spiral staircase toward the master control room on the top floor, their boots making no sound against the thick Persian carpets.
