Years later, Matteo stood at the estate entrance as Emma came home from college.

She had grown into a confident young woman.

Sophia cried before Emma even reached the steps.

“You're home.”

Emma laughed.

“Of course I'm home.”

Matteo hugged her tightly.

“You've changed.”

“So have you.”

He smiled.

The estate was no longer guarded by fear.

Its gates were open for friends, neighbors, and employees.

The old staff wing had become a community center financed by Matteo.

Sophia helped manage it.

Children from nearby neighborhoods came for tutoring, meals, and art classes.

Emma walked through the doors and smiled.

“This place feels different.”

Matteo nodded.

“It is.”

“What happened?”

He looked at Sophia.

Then at Emma.

“People decided to use what they had to help others.”

Emma smiled.

“That sounds like you.”

“No.”

Matteo shook his head.

“That sounds like your mother.”

Sophia laughed.

The house that had once concealed secrets now opened its doors to people who needed hope.

And that was the legacy Matteo wanted.
