Chapter 25 - The Westchester Estate and the Unbroken Horizon

The black armored SUV glided smoothly through the wrought-iron security gates of the Westchester estate, leaving the chaos of New York City far behind.

The property was a sprawling, secluded sanctuary nestled among forty acres of dense, towering pine trees and rolling green hills. The main house—a magnificent stone-and-timber manor built with reinforced architecture, private courtyards, and state-of-the-art security systems—stood majestically against the backdrop of the morning sky.

As Leo parked the SUV beneath the grand portico, Luke stepped out first, walking around to open the passenger door for Elena.

She stepped out, taking a deep breath of the crisp, pine-scented country air. The silence here was different from the silence of the hospital room; it was vast, organic, and alive. Birds chirped in the canopy above, and a gentle breeze whispered through the evergreen branches.

Luke stepped up beside her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders and pulling her close.

"Welcome home, Elena," he whispered softly.

Elena looked up at the grand stone manor, then turned her gaze to Luke, seeing the absolute, unshakeable devotion shining in his eyes. She smiled, resting her head against his shoulder as they walked up the stone steps toward the heavy oak front door.

The empire of the underworld was secured. The crown of New York rested firmly and untouchably on Luke’s brow. But as the heavy oak door swung open to reveal a warm, sunlit foyer filled with the promise of a peaceful future, Luke knew that his greatest victory wasn't the territory he had conquered, but the family he had saved.

The war was over. The horizon was unwritten. And the Mercer dynasty had finally found its true home.
