Chapter 56 - The Eternal Horizon

The final chapter of our war had been written months ago, but looking out over the city tonight, it felt as though we were standing at the very beginning of eternity. The past was a closed ledger, locked away in the vault of history; the present was a sunlit sanctuary of love and peace; and the future stretched out before us like an open, uncharted ocean waiting to be explored.

I wrapped my arms securely around Harper, pulling her flush against my chest as the autumn wind swept across the rooftop terrace. She closed her eyes, letting out a long, contented sigh of absolute release.

We had survived the syndicates, the betrayals, the corporate assassinations, and the crushing weight of empires built on blood. We had carved out our own destiny with iron wills and unwavering loyalty. And as the city lights flickered below us in a steady, unbroken rhythm of life and power, I knew with absolute, unshakable certainty that our reign was permanent, absolute, and eternal.
