Chapter 13 - THE SEASIDE EXPANSION

Under Mark and Brooke’s joint leadership, Sterling Transatlantic Maritime completed its historic transition into an ethical, community-focused global transport and disaster relief network.
The company launched a fleet of twelve zero-emission, solar-hybrid container vessels, named The Lily Fleet, operating along the North Atlantic trade corridors with guaranteed living wages, family healthcare, and free college tuition for every sailor and dockworker.
Brooke was invited to deliver the keynote address at the International Maritime Ethics Convention in Geneva on corporate responsibility and community food sovereignty.
Dressed in an elegant emerald-green silk gown, Brooke walked onto the grand assembly stage to a standing ovation from delegates representing ninety-four nations.
"True prosperity is not measured by the wealth we hoard behind guarded gates," Brooke addressed the assembly, her melodic voice carrying across the hall like clear crystal. "It is measured by how fiercely we defend the defenseless, how loudly we speak for those who have been silenced, and how generously we open our doors to the hungry. When we lead with integrity, our institutions will stand unbreakable against any storm."
The entire hall rose in deafening applause.

Mark looked at his wife, his heart overflowing with an untouchable, eternal peace.
