Chapter 17 - WRATH OF THE TITAN

Noah spent the night in the hospital recovering from mild hypothermia, with Ethan and Hannah holding his hands the entire time.

Watching his son hooked up to monitors flipped a dark, terrifying switch deep inside Ethan's soul.

The next morning, Ethan walked into the Blackwood Tower board room looking like the literal angel of death.

He didn't wear a tie, his jaw was covered in dark stubble, and his eyes held zero mercy.

"Arthur Hale paid a hacker to route that data leak through my home network," Ethan told his silent, terrified executives.

"He endangered my family, he stressed my fiancée, and he put my son in a hospital bed."

Ethan slammed a thick, black leather binder onto the center of the mahogany conference table.

"I want the Hale family erased from the global financial system by sunset," Ethan commanded.

He instructed his lawyers to buy up every single cent of Arthur Hale's corporate debt through shell companies.

Then, he orchestrated a massive, synchronized calling of those loans, demanding immediate cash repayment.

He didn't just bankrupt Arthur Hale; he systematically destroyed his suppliers, his partners, and his international credit.

By three o'clock in the afternoon, the Hale financial empire was bleeding out on Wall Street.
