The storm outside intensified, battering the coastal estate with heavy winds and blinding sheets of freezing rain.
Leah sat in the center of the massive living room, holding a terrified Noah tightly against her chest.

Ethan rushed forward, forming a protective wall of bodies around Leah and Noah as they hurried toward the hidden elevator.
