Chapter 10 - The Sovereign Dynasty

Six months later.
Spring had arrived across the estate grounds, painting the rolling hills in brilliant hues of green, gold, and blooming white roses. The dark clouds of war had completely cleared, replaced by an era of unprecedented peace and prosperity for the Rosselli empire.
In the sunlit courtyard garden, Alina sat at a white wrought-iron table, reviewing corporate financial documents on a sleek tablet. She was dressed in an elegant cream silk blouse and dark trousers, her dark hair flowing smoothly over her shoulders. No longer a struggling waitress, she was now the official director of the Rosselli Family Foundation, managing billions in legitimate community investment.
Beside her on a soft blanket on the lawn, fifteen-month-old Leo was happily toddling around on his feet, chasing a colorful rubber ball while laughing brightly.
Footsteps echoed along the stone walkway.
Dante walked out onto the patio, wearing a crisp tailored navy suit over an unbuttoned white dress shirt, his dark dragon tattoo visible on his neck. He looked handsome, imposing, and completely relaxed.
He walked over to Alina’s table, leaning down to press a soft, affectionate kiss onto the top of her head before sitting beside her.
"How are the foundation reports?" Dante asked, his baritone voice smooth and warm.
"We just cleared the funding for three new youth centers in the North District," Alina smiled, turning her tablet toward him. "Mother would have loved it."
"Your mother would be immensely proud of you, Lena," Dante said softly, his dark eyes shining with genuine pride. "You brought heart back into this family."
Suddenly, Leo came toddling over, holding his rubber ball with both hands, shouting happily as he threw himself against Dante’s knee. Dante reached down with effortless strength, scooping his son up onto his broad lap.
Leo babbled happily, reaching his tiny hand out to touch the dragon tattoo on his father's neck, then reaching his other hand out to grab Alina’s fingers.

Alina smiled warmly, taking her cousin's tiny hand in hers, then looking up into Dante’s dark, scarred face.
The fear that had haunted her life for twenty years was gone forever, replaced by the unbreakable bond of a sovereign family that had reclaimed its throne.
