Chapter 6 - THE FAMILY REALIZED

One Year LaterThe sun shone brightly over the grand gardens of the Viscari estate as hundreds of guests gathered for the wedding of the year.
The estate gates stood wide open to friends, business partners, and staff members alike. The grand lawn was decorated with white lilies, silk drapes, and crystal chandeliers hanging from the ancient oak trees.
Sophie, now four years old and wearing a tiny white dress with a crown of summer flowers, stood beside the altar holding her stuffed rabbit, which had been restored with new velvet ribbons.
I walked down the aisle in a sweeping lace gown, looking straight at the man who had become my rock, my protector, and my soulmate.
Alessandro stood at the altar in a sharp black tuxedo, his eyes filled with immense love and quiet pride as he took my hand.
After exchanging our vows, the justice of the peace pronounced us husband and wife. The crowd erupted into joyful applause as Alessandro pulled me into a deep, passionate kiss.
Sophie ran up to us, tugging on Alessandro’s jacket.
Alessandro immediately laughed, kneeling down to scoop her up in his arms alongside me.
"Look, Daddy!" Sophie giggled, holding up a small silver bracelet Alessandro had given her—engraved with her name and the Viscari family crest. "I have a silver bracelet now too!"
Alessandro kissed her forehead tenderly, holding both of us tightly against his heart.

"Yes, you do, sweetheart," Alessandro smiled warmly. "And no one will ever hurt our family again."
The dark shadows of betrayal, fear, and pain were gone forever. In their place stood an unbreakable bond—a true family built on love, trust, and the innocent courage of a little girl who changed everything.
