Chapter 14 - The Parasite Protocol

"We send a guillotine," I said coldly.

I rapidly compiled a self-replicating digital parasite, disguising the malware packet as a routine background update for her AI character models. It was the most sophisticated, aggressive code I had ever written.

"The moment her automated system accepts this prompt update, the parasite will detonate," I explained, hovering my finger over the execute key. "It won't just crash her deepfakes. It will strip away her military-grade VPNs, shatter her firewalls, and permanently expose the shadow ledgers of the entire Vanguard Syndicate."

I hit enter.

I initiated a direct, encrypted video link to the localized IP address I had just unmasked. For a moment, the screen was black. Then, the video connected.

Vivienne Thorne was sitting in a lavish, marble-lined penthouse in Geneva, staring at her own monitors as my code systematically deleted her multi-billion-dollar empire. She was older than Elias, with severe, aristocratic features and cold, reptilian eyes that were currently wide with sheer, unadulterated panic.

"Evelyn!" Vivienne screamed, her immaculate, untouchable facade completely obliterated. "Stop the protocol! You are crashing the central servers! You are exposing the cartel payrolls!"

"I’m not just exposing them, Vivienne," I said, leaning closer to the camera, my voice echoing with lethal, uncompromising authority. "I am executing a high-frequency transfer protocol. I am breaking your syndicate’s liquid cash into a hundred thousand micro-transactions, and I am funneling it directly into the public, verifiable bank accounts of Interpol and your most vicious international rivals."

"You are destroying a century of wealth!" she shrieked, sweat pouring down her face as the red emergency lights in her penthouse began to flash.

"You targeted my reputation. You tried to steal the technology I built to protect vulnerable women," I whispered, the absolute truth of my wrath vibrating through the microphone. "You thought you were the queen of the digital underworld. But you forgot that I am the one who owns the lights."

I didn't wait for her to beg. On my screen, the heavy mahogany doors of Vivienne’s Geneva penthouse violently burst open. A tactical team of armed Swiss federal police flooded the room, their laser sights cutting through the dim light directly onto Vivienne’s chest.

"Vivienne Thorne!" the lead agent barked, slamming the billionaire face-first onto her antique desk. "You are under arrest for international money laundering, cyber-terrorism, and corporate extortion!"

I watched without a single ounce of pity as the last remaining venomous root of the Thorne dynasty was dragged out of her office in heavy steel handcuffs, sobbing as her shadow empire collapsed into absolute ruin. I severed the connection, leaving our flawless kitchen in stunning, beautiful silence.
