Chapter 10 - The Sovereign Horizon

The summer sun cast a brilliant, golden glow over the Manhattan skyline as I stood on the wraparound balcony of my private penthouse overlooking Central Park.

The wind caught the silk of my dress, rippling the fabric gently in the warm breeze. I raised a crystal glass of sparkling water, offering a silent toast to the city below—to the struggles that forged me, the betrayal that woke me, and the empire I had built with my own two hands.

My phone chimed softly on the patio table. I picked it up, expecting an email from Nathan or Arthur.

Instead, it was a notification from a secure banking app: Wire transfer received. Total equity valuation: $4.2 Billion.

I locked the phone, slipping it into my pocket, and smiled out at the vast, endless horizon.

They thought they had broken me at that grand society banquet. They thought throwing me into the cold would destroy me.

They had merely forgotten that I wasn't just a guest in their world.

I was the world.
